World's first glow in the dark ramen bar set to tour, reports Richard Dunnett
Forget glow sticks. Expect neon sensory overload as the world's first glowing ramen bar opens at Atlanta warehouse destination Paris on Ponce, ahead of a world tour showcasing its innovative menu created by London's Bompas & Parr.
They have collaborated with designer Zoo-as-Zoo to launch pop up Nakamura.ke, with Bompas & Parr's development chef carefully balancing vitamin B2 and quinine with fat and water to create the spellbinding effect from all natural ingredients. Gluten-free and vegetarian options available.
Founded by food innovators Sam Bompas and Harry Parr, the studio has masterminded multi sensory culinary events to rapturous applause, with the pair having studied luminescence and its culinary applications for more than a decade.
Nakamura.ke is expected to hit Los Angeles, London, Miami, New York, Tokyo and Seoul next.
