Meet the Leader appoints Faith Hill as Business & Strategy Director as boutique agency expands its global footprint
Faith Hill joins Meet the Leader (MTL) as Business & Strategy Director ahead of the multi-award-winning agency’s 8th anniversary on 1st July. She will drive UK regional growth and international expansion, and lead MTL’s media training and strategy services.
Multi-award-winning content agency Meet the Leader (MTL) has announced the appointment of Faith Hill as Business & Strategy Director, as the company marks its eighth year this 1st July.
Based between London and Leeds, Hill will focus on growing MTL’s home and international presence, including the agency’s renowned thought leadership and content strategy services. She will also spearhead the agency’s media training offer and play a key role in building MTL’s client base in the North and Northwest of England.
Hill brings nearly three decades of experience in publishing, coaching and business strategy: she began her career in consumer publishing, holding senior roles at Wallpaper*, NME, Look and the London Evening Standard.
Since then, she collaborated with entrepreneurial leaders and change-makers at The Trampery, where she was Head of Events, helping to scale the business, diversify revenue streams and launch the flagship co-working and events space on London’s Old Street.
Within six months, she had exceeded commercial targets by 45%, securing clients including BBC, Accenture, ITV, Tate, and Virgin Media Business.
At The Knowledge Engineers, Hill led the end-to-end development and launch of two global B2B digital products for marketers, managing every aspect from product strategy to branding, marketing, and global rollout across offices in London, New York, São Paulo and Singapore. As Publishing Director, she also oversaw the company’s rebrand and later managed its integration following its acquisition by Haymarket Media.
Alongside her editorial and strategic work, she is also a certified NLP coach of 10 years and runs a thriving global coaching practice, Faith Hill Coaching.
Hill’s appointment marks a personal and professional reunion with MTL’s award-winning founder and CEO Lysanne Currie, with whom she first worked at Sugar magazine in the early 2000s – then the UK’s number one teen brand with multiple successful business franchises. The pair later collaborated on a major digital project for the Institute of Directors.
Said Hill, “MTL is a brilliant business. I’ve seen first-hand the impact of its work and am excited to helpshape this next phase of growth. It’s a joy to join forces with Lysanne again and support the ambitious leaders and organisations MTL serves across the world.”
Currie added, “I’ve worked with Faith in so many guises – as a marketeer, publisher, strategist and collaborator. She brings an incredible blend of commercial edge, customer insight and entrepreneurial flair to every project. We’re delighted she’s joined us at such a pivotal moment as we scale up.
“Over the past few months, MTL has seen a sharp rise in demand for our leadership content services. For businesses, having authoritative, contextually relevant thought leadership is more important than ever, especially in this new age of AI. I’m thrilled to welcome Faith to our team and look forward to her managing the continued growth of MTL.”
With clients now in 14 countries outside the UK – from Ghana to Greece, South Korea to Switzerland – MTL’s London-based agency continues to support CEOs, founders and business leaders in telling their stories with clarity, creativity and impact, underpinned by a trusted network of seasoned journalists, editors and creative strategists.
